Prayer

August Guided Meditation

Text Meditation

It is not I, but the Christ within who does the work.

What a glorious honor it is to join in prayer at this appointed hour. This is a sacred time, a time of letting go and experiencing the presence of God within our minds and hearts. With hearts united in faith, we join now in holding thoughts of peace, wisdom, healing, and prosperity for ourselves, those we hold in prayer, and our world.

One with the ever-present peace of God,
we experience perfect tranquility.

We breathe in now, opening our minds and hearts to the peace of God—the peace that assures us, deep within our souls, that we are being divinely blessed. As we rest in the quiet of prayer now, we let go of any concern and know that with God, there is no sense of worry or concern, there is only a sense of peace, confidence, and security …

From this place of peace, we have all the energy, strength, and wisdom we need to move forward and experience God’s blessings in every area of life.

In the faith that God is always with us on our life’s path, we now let go and pray …

We accept the blessing of divine wisdom
as our truth and our way in all circumstances.

The wisdom of God is our guiding light and our beacon of hope in every situation. As we pray now for guidance, we open ourselves to the light of God and relax. We are channels of divine light, and we are attuned to this light.

In this sacred moment, we feel at peace, knowing that we are one with the light of God—the light that motivates us, inspires us, and gently guides us on the path of fulfillment. Through the light of God within, we have the wisdom, abilities, and drive to succeed. With God, we know what to do, and we do it.

Attuned to divine light within, we rest for a moment in faith-filled prayer …

Renewed by the power and presence of God, we are healed.

We are God’s beloved, filled with revitalizing power and strength. This is the truth we hold in our hearts as we pray for healing.

We breathe deeply, inhaling the healing power of God, the life force that dwells within our body temples. We feel this power filling us with greater energy and strength in mind and body. We are vitally alive, for God’s healing power and presence are mightily at work within us. Knowing that we are being renewed in mind, body, and spirit right now, we are at peace …

With minds and hearts attuned to God, we affirm health and strength for ourselves and others as we turn within …

We claim the infinite good that awaits us as children of God.

As we move deeper into our prayer experience, we turn our thoughts to prosperity.

United in an awareness of God, we affirm that God is our source and our supply, and we claim our good now. We envision our lives as they truly are productive, fulfilling, and prosperous.

With grateful hearts, we open ourselves to the blessings of God. We see these blessings freely pouring upon us and everyone we pray for as creative ideas, timely opportunities, and successful outcomes.

With hearts attuned to God, we give thanks for our good as we rest in the silence of prayer …

Our thoughts of love contribute to the
environment of peace that encircles the world.

We are God’s beloved, and through our thoughts and actions, we contribute to lasting peace in the world. Every prayerful thought, every caring action brings us ever more aware of God and closer to one another.

As we hold thoughts of peace, we see all people united in a spirit of love and a common bond of faith. We know that every good desire for peace comes from God, and it is through God that lasting peace becomes a reality.

Affirming this reality and joining minds and hearts in faith-filled prayer, we envision peace …

We bring our prayer time together to a close now, knowing we can relive this experience in our minds and hearts each time we pray. We are one in an awareness of God, and in this awareness, let us join now in praying the “Prayer for Protection”:
The light of God surrounds us;
The love of God enfolds us;
The power of God protects us;
The presence of God watches
       over us.
Wherever we are, God is!
